Modern day Living makes nutrition hard at the best of times.

Working a demanding 9-5 doesn’t leave much for dedicated or disciplined eating. Most of us know what to eat but find it hard to resist the convenience of highly refined and palatable food. Falling in the trap of convenience and instant gratification sends us on a downward spiral of bad habits. Finally when we had enough we make huge, dramatic short term change to bring us back to level – just to relapse in a couple of weeks.

Change shouldn’t be a short term massive overhaul. Research has shown that when people try to change a single behavior at a time, the likelihood that they will retain that habit for a year or more is better than 80%. When we try and tackle two behaviors at once, likelihood of success is less than 35%. When we try for three behaviors or more the success rate plummets to les than 5%. Give yourself the best chance of  nutritional success by simplifying and tackling one basic habit at a time.
